Unfortunately we cannot accept the following types of toys:
Toys that include weapons: for example:
Action figures with weapons
Toy soldiers Nerf guns
Toys that are:
broken
missing pieces
dirty or damaged
Toys that can only be best-used once – For example:
Playdoh, Paint, Markers, Crayons, etc.
Why? Toy library toys will be used by many different kids!
Toys made of fabric –
broken
These are difficult to clean repeatedly
Large toy sets like play kitchens
These are difficult to store in large quantities, and difficult for families to easily transport from the library to home and back again.

Cardboard puzzles for older kids or board games –
It is easier to lose these pieces and less enjoyable for kids to have many pieces missing. Also less durable after used and transported multiple times
*If there is something that we cannot use in our library, we will try to find a way to re purpose the item or put it into recycling if possible. We work hard on creating very little toy waste that goes to the landfill!
If you have confirmed that your toys are a good fit, please contact us by email and we will set up a time and place to meet [email protected].
